This is the playoffs. It's a new season. Forget about regular season records. I just look at how we played against the different teams.

I'm not as afraid of Boston as some others. I feel like we out-played them at times and got bad bounces.
Pitt, at least last game, I felt like we got outplayed and KK bailed us out.
Tampa's looking fragile and their goaltending has become porous.
Washington scares me. We don't match up well with them and they may be riding a new, hot goalie. You never know how he'll do.
Columbus I feel like we never play well against.
If Florida makes it in, they're gonna be a scary team. As we all know, they've been on a serious roll this last month.
I feel like Philly's a streaky team and they're in a down-swing. If they make it, I wouldn't be surprised to see them swept first round.

When we played Boston there was no Bergeron Krug and Nash

It would be great if the Devils B-roster won the Capitals A-roster. However, it’s pretty easy to assume that the Devils get the second wild card spot and they play against the Lightning or the Bruins. Probably Lightning.

When the difference between your A-roster and B-roster is Taylor Hall...

Well, at least some guys who probably need rest are getting it. I don't see this game going well.

Only question remains is if Cory can regain some confidence here.

Would be an absolute bonus(and hilarious as hell) if the Devils pulled off the Victory on the road in Washington without The MVP playing.

There are bigger things at stake then personal records. Let him be totally fresh and rested.
6 days between games seems counterproductive to me. Especially for Keith. I wouldn't do anything to stop that momentum personally.

Washington and Columbus are really bad matchups, especially if the referees interpret the rules loosely.

Yes I’m still here to piss you off

Eh. Either way there’s a big gap in games. We may not even play on Wednesday so it would be an even bigger gap. I’m not worried. He’s been locked in all season. Keith just needs to stay sharp.

The thing I'm most interested in for this game is how the Wood-Zacha-Maroon line does. I really want them to solidify themselves as a line like the Zajac and Hischier lines have.
