No goals this year. And only points in 2 games? Is it the downside of having to play 3rd fiddle?
Oh look, its like everyone said; Tavares affects his offense.
Leafs fans told me he would score 30g 30assist on the third line lol
He's better than Seguin, the numbers don't lie.
He had a slump last year where he only had like 2 points in 20 games. He's the kind of player who runs really hot and cold. 30g, 30a will be hard to achieve, but I'm sure he finishes around 25+25 by seasons end.
He's been getting chances, just not going in. Also isn't really being used the same way for the powerplay. Marner looks for Rielly/Tavares more than him
Top 20 Center. Amirite, Zeke?
He'd still be the 1c on the sharks.
No ice time and the second PP hardly gets out an misses Nylander.
I was told he was supposed to be feasting against weak competition this year playing on the 3rd line?
Still elite 3rd line C.
Hes had chances his line needs to get going as a whole though if Willy signs it'll be a big upgrade to one of his wingers at least.
Not really a surprise, you'd expect his numbers will go down this year as the 3rd line C.
He scored tonight.
He's working on his Selke.
Just fell back to his normal level
I don’t see an issue. Didn’t he score a goal tonight?
He had a career year and is regressing back to his norm is all.
Stay on topic or we'll remove you from the thread.
Oh, and if you're planning on trolling: don't do that. khnxbai.
He plays on first pp unit
Marner refitalized his year last year. Now has much worse wingers and Kadri can’t carry a line. Not a shutdown C either.
Always been a fan of Kadri.
Even if he dips in points, he is being paid 4.5 million. So no big deal.
Oh...and he is on pace for 42 points right now. If he had 1 more point, he would be in pace for 51....just off the 55 from last year.
Small sample size people. He will be fine.
Pretty much yes.
Hes got more of a checking role now. There is only so much scoring opportunity to share.
I said burns and karlsson would both see a reduction in points this year too. 60 pointsish.
Hes scored 60 points from the third line before but that's with Babcock rolling three lines evenly. He went do that as much with one of the strongest one two punches in the league.
My guess is Kari scored 40 to 50 points. 20ish goals.
They don't need him to score. I'm sure his role has changed a bit since Tavares. Who were his linemates last season?
His normal level is about 30 goals 60 points, when not strictly in a checking role.
