Columbus Blue jackets

and

Florida Panthers.

Florida entered NHL sooner than leterfollower Colmubus, but there are already one team in Florida who is doing well, and have profiles (Tampa Bay). Florida is known for veterans and maybe nothing else.

Columbus entered NHL without a YES vote from Columbus inhabitants for having a NHL team. It was on the rare edge for getting it (after a discussion and meeting with Bettman).

Why couldn´t Quebeck, Seattle or Hamilton get those teams?
Can´t see what Columbus accomoplish in the NHL. :shakehead
All other teams at least made some effort (Atlanta, Nashville, Minnesota)

So tell me :thumbd:

Well...

In 1993, Quebec had a team. They moved because their Arena was not up to date (which is still true in 2000).

Seattle also does not have an arena suitable for ice hockey.

I don't know about Hamilton.

I hope this answers your question before the imminent lock.
