This has been exciting as an Avs fan to watch, but it is nerve wracking as well. To be honest, I would be fine if the Avs barely missed out, it they grow from the experience and continued their ascension next year as a team and organization. Unfortunately, I have this gnawing feeling that this could all be a mirage and they could backslide tremendously next year. I think it is some sort of PTSD residual effect from last season as a fan.

The good thing about this week is we at least don't have to worry about not giving points away to the other teams when going into OT. We need to win two of these games at least but they need to be wins in regulation or OT. Winning in SO could potentially hurt us at the end.
