Crazy that we're already 2-0-0 this week.

Nashville played tonight and will be playing the 2nd night of a B2B on the road in Denver. Definitely a winnable game tomorrow. And then Detroit Sunday afternoon should be a win as well. Wings are played terrible hockey right now and seem to be in full tank mode like the rest of the bottom feeders minus Arizona.

Would be insane to go 4-0-0 this week. Dont want to get too far ahead of ourselves but...

We'll beat the Preds but lose to the Dead Things. We'll have enough of a buffer to take one for the team & sabotage their tank, and also #avs

Spencer Martin should get a game for how badass his new pads are alone.

Reminds me of my favorite mountain in all of Colorado. Vestal Peak.

Hey Detroit could be one more team pushing Ottawa's pick closer to #7.

Only complaint I have is the mountains should be in a form of a mountain top instead of a "V".
You're right. They should peak in the middle rather than on the outside of the pad.

Had a friend I sent the same picture to say they reminded him of the Maroon Bells, which may be true.

Are any of these in Montana? I remember seeing something similar to his pads in big sky country or perhaps it is the Alps since the peaks look quite jagged.

The Bells are two 14ers near Aspen, CO. Difficult and dangerous peaks to climb, but very, very beautiful.

The whole Big Sky Country thing in Montana refers more to views like this

Kamenev was recalled, although the Avs had to recall him, so it is not a surprise.

I guess the question is whether he can get in the lineup. I think the plan has to be to insert him soon and coming off a loss Bednar should be able justify inserting him into the lineup. I am not sure who comes out though, as the logical candidates, Bourque and Toninato, both had strong games yesterday.

Hitting the playoffs with:

Landy - MacK - Mikko
Nieto - Soda - Comeau
Jost - Kamenev - Sven
Wilson - Kerf - Comph
( Greer | Toni | Gork )

is going to be so sweet

Probably gonna be top 10 season. Maybe higher?
If he "slows" down to 1.5ppg, he will break 100 points. That's good for top 5. If he keeps scoring at 2 ppg, he will have 108. He would be flirting with the best season on that list. Obviously that is wishful thinking, but MacKinnon has blown away any expectations I've had for him repeatedly. It will be fun to watch.

Kucherov, McDavid & Malkin are going to crack 100 points to. So MacK should crack top 10, but unless he passes those three, top 5 could be tough.

I hope MacKinnon finds a way to win the scoring title but I think McDavid will take it. Meaningless games for the Oilers down the stretch means free wheeling hockey, and that's a scary thought for #97 to be doing that.

That said, if MacKinnon wins the Art Ross, he'll guarantee himself the Hart and also likely lock us into a playoff spot.
