Between no Cam Newton and having to take a 4+ hour flight out there this morning, things aren't exactly set up for them to succeed tonight. I have no expectations for them to come out of this game with anything other than a loss, but it will be interesting to see what kind of mental toughness they show and if there are any good individual performances.

Time to find out whether or not your defense can steal a game.

It’s a very tall order.

Also, the way their team is built, you really cannot afford to have such question marks at the place kicker position.

Let's do this again from the diaphragm.

Gonna be a tough one tonight for Bill and the boys without Newton. Didn't practice much, had to fly in tonight to play instead of on Saturday and play on Sunday. Their backs are up against the wall in this one and the defense needs to hold steady for a shot at winning this thing. If Hoyer starts puking on his laces and throws a couple picks to start, they have to switch to Stidham. They have no choice. They need to see what this kid has and stop kicking the can down the road. Hell, the Chiefs are seen as winning this handedly, so what do they have to lose? Not only that, if Damien Harris goes off and lives up to the hype, it will most likely be curtains for Michel here in New England. Would be interesting if the Pats can get a QB or some picks for him if Harris wins the starting RB job tonight.

They were probably always going to be 2-2 after tonight so I’m more concerned with how they play, specially defensively and running the ball.

The big question tonight: will the game be over by halftime or will ESPN execs be pissed that no one wants to watch Monday Night Football?

If D and Special Teams (excluding Folk) can score 14 points, we might lose by just 10 points!

Nah, hoping for a miracle but not expecting anything. Hope Kelce has a **** game. Hill too.

Not great but not terrible. Great coverage in the red zone to hold the Chiefs to a field goal.
