Why? There's not much difference between a 10 and 13 point lead but there's a huge difference between a 13 and 17 point lead.

Your playcalling options are far more limited that close to the goal line. If they had been on the 30 or something and you don't trust your kicker, that's one thing, I could see that.

Again, a 10 point lead and a 13 point lead is still a two score game. Getting it to a three score game with a TD is much better and even just getting a 1st down and running more time off the clock is a better option than just taking 3.

Worst case is you put an offense that has done nothing in the last 40 minutes a long field down 10 with 4 minutes and 1 timeout left.

But you accomplish the same thing after the kickoff with a 13 point lead if you kick the easy FG

I know Bailey has missed but that was a 48 and a 56. This would've been like 30.

The difference between 10 and 13 point lead there means GB has to go for it on 4th down, can't settle for the FG.

Can get the ball back without a Vikings first down. Enough time left for some more Rodgers magic.

It was probably closer than it should've been but I'll take it. Vikings just need to win any way they can.

Good bounce back game for Cousins.

How many times did Collinsworth mention the "blessing and curse" of coaching Rodgers? That was weird how they kept caping for McCarthy.

Rodgers did miss two key throws at the end there. Just like last week against the Seahawks on third and short.

Diggs is obviously great and makes this happen but Tramon Williams was also one of the Vikings secret weapons tonight.

Denver/Cincinnati is a loser leaves town game. Broncos lose tiebreakers with the Ravens, don't play a lot of these other teams, who knows how things will play out by the time DEN and the Chargers play in week 17

Is it me or does Chargers never beat Broncos?

Anyways, I don't think it will matter for Chargers, they got one of the WC slot for sure. Would take an epic collapse.

They split the season series in 2016-2017.

This isn't like when DEN won 8 of 9 in the Manning era.

yup. He and his receiving core have been struggling, its hard to blame the coach imo when this season you see some key missed throws or drops by the receivers. But I guess it is easier to blame the coach then the players.

What a difference a Monday makes.

Don’t get me wrong, this is an important game:

A Titan win puts them one game back in the AFC South with a potential season sweep.

Indy’s recent surge and Pittsburgh’s lost yesterday amplifies the importance of this game for seeding as well.

But considering how there was so much hype and anticipation for last MNF.... well, it kinda feels like football’s The Hangover
