So Draft Kings is running a free pick 'em contest this year where you can win your share of X dollars per week depending on how many you pick correctly and how many people get as many right as you, and in Week 1 (Thursday not included), exactly zero people got 14/14, if you discount the tie. I guess that Saints game ****ed over everyone.

So what ended up getting paid out and how many correct did the winer have 12? 13?

Yeah, the winners had 13/14 or 15 right. I'm not sure how they're playing the tie yet as money will be paid out at noon EST today. You get 100 points per correct pick, and the prizes are distributed by how many points you get.

1500 points -> split $300k
1400 -> $200k
1300 -> $150k
1100-1200 -> $200k
800-1000 -> $150k

I don't know if they're going to award points to everyone for the tie and bump down those slots 100 points (which would still leave no one with the top prize), or just not award the top two and have the 71 people who tied for first with 1300 split the $150k. I ended up with 1100, but there's at least 1500 people that had the same score.

I'll consider anything over $50 a victory since I didn't do so hot the rest of the week in traditional FF, DFS, or survival.

EDIT: Yeah, reading the rules, ties are treated like cancellations and everyone drops a tier, which probably just hurts me actually since I'm still tied for the 3rd tier but now with more people.

EDIT2: Oh, well, also according to the rules, the top prize tier is going to be redistributed among the others since nobody reached it, so there will be more to go around.

Forget 2016. The Raiders of 2015 with Carr/Cooper/Crabtree and a young Khalil Mack, swashbuckling riverboat gambler Jack Del Rio as coach....... how do you let things go from that to this?

Cooper had 8th highest average yards separation of every receiver in week 1. 3.6 yards of open space per throw.

So he is open all the time and not getting thrown to.

Carr was also alright until getting hit low. Strong believer in the PTSD thing with him. It's all mental.

Carr was always quick to dump it down. Even as a rookie. His best year came under Musgrave because Musgrave recognized that he can't operate in a muddy pocket. So he had Carr taking deeper drops and moving throwing platforms to keep him clean. Firing Bill Musgrave didn't make sense.

Bill's job is to avoid giving the other team opposition material. His pressers have often been platitudes or bland commentary without content. It's intentional.
