Nutivaara has had a good season. But so has a lot of guys.

I think he is the biggest surprise though. His way of thinking the game looks like a better fit in the NHL.

Holy overreacting! Some of the early posts in this thread look really funny at the moment. After all one of the best seasons ever for the Finns in the NHL. I seriously think that overreacting like this is quite needless in general.

Top 20 comparison to last season. And obviously, check out Mikko Rantanen and Erik Haula
38 pts -> 84 pts for Mikko
26 pts -> 55 pts for Erik (not to mention having more goals this season than points last season)

And our Top 20 scoring-wise:

2016-17 - 295+430=725 in 1451 total gp
2017-18 - 320+531=851 in 1496 total gp

So, in goals, there was a 5,21 % improvement (adjusted for games played)
and in assists, there was a 19,77 % improvement (adjusted for games played)
and in total points, there was a 13,85 % improvement (adjusted for games played)
