Don't need room for Harti if he won't start hitting a ton. He has disappeared far too often this season where he did approximately nothing.

If the Oilers win on Monday then selling at the deadline is a really, really piss poor message. Who cares about Belanger? Keep sitting him in the pressbox. He's earned it.

Lander needs to stay down. If he ever wants to play in the NHL, and not as a fringe player, he needs to develop his offensive talents. The NHL isn't the place to do that, especially for a team desperate to make it into the playoffs.

My question is what kind of offensive does he need to have? His main strength has never been offense and despite that we're a bunch of offensive junkies here (for FWs as well as Ds) I think that everyone should just sit back for a second and consider what we want Lander to do here... You are aware of course that in the last 5-6 seasons there has basically not been a center placed >60 with more than 0.5 ppg. Lander is supposed to be around there, less than 0.5 ppg as a 3rd liner would be just fine. We don't need the perfect team with everyone scoring ppg...

It seems to be working wonders for Paajarvi IMO. Every case is different, but:

Paajarvi '12-13 OKC 38gp. 4-16-20 0.53PPG 4.7% shooting %

Paajarvi '12-13 Edm 29gp. 7-3-10 (14gp. 5-3-8 since his recall) 0.35PPG 12.3% shooting %
