I'd give Johnny at least one more day off. Backs are mysterious, it could flare up after a shift and we are back to 5 D.

I was thinking about this before Eriksson went down, but is there any good reason that Iginla hasn't played with Bergy/Marchand?

It seems to me that line plays into his style better and they've had success in the past with tough vets like Recchi on the wing. Also, I think Eriksson would benefit from Lucic creating some space for him to skate into open ice.

Yes. He had an assist against Portland on Sunday.

Morrow has played in 23 of 24 games and has 2 goals and 14 assists. He is -3 on the season with 14 PIM's.

I'd like to see how Soderberg responds to playing with the skill of Krejci and the Braun of Lucic. I think Iggy is a nice fit to play with Bergeron. With the terrible season Marchand is having so far why not try him on his off wing in Thorty's place? Otherwise I swap Smith with Marchand. I think there could be some chemistry with Paille seeing as how they both have wheels. The Spooner line is mostly a throw in or default line...not something Julien tends to do but for a short while maybe not rolling 4 lines is something he might consider.

Marchand-Spooner-Smith: little youth and skill, Marchand gives a bit of a vet presence.
Paille-Kelly-Campbell: Kelly can give a bit more skill and all around play to the 4th
