I expect an angry Lightning team with Vas in goal.

does the 2nd road game blues affect the Lightning or do they come out flying because they need a win?

Do we get Reimer or Ned? Skjei going to get a rest game? Someone else getting a rest game?

Svech needs to stay with Aho. Im here for the lines.

In the PNC during the COVID War, a mysterious stranger, Jake (Bean), and a Saskatchewan outlaw, Hayden (Fleury), form an uneasy partnership -- Jake plays his offside for the pinches, then rescues Hayden just as he is about to be 2 on 1-ed. When Jake's shots to the net start working during one escapade, a furious Hayden tries to have him benched. The men re-team abruptly, however, to beat out a smooth former Leaf and the Lightning army and find a win that a goalie has buried in the South.

Should be fun.

Yes the Bolts are going to be super pissed. Shut out in two games in a row. All pro hockey players have some amount of ego, I believe you have to in order to succeed at this level.

I actually would feel better with Ned in net than Reimer. I have to admit, even though I am still a bit nervous, I think he matches up much better against a skill team like the bolts than Reimer does. Simply due to age. Neds lateral movement is better than Reimers as well as his rebound control.

I think it will be Reimer tonight though so well see what he can do.

Unacceptable amount of effort.

4 games this week, I think they split them.

Whoever plays tonight plays Thursday, and the other gets Wednesday and Saturday.

But I can definitely see an argument for Ned tonight after last game, even if it gives Ned 3/4 against TB.

Yeah this one has all the signs of a bounce-back game where the guys who just got their asses beat come out angry and take it to you and generally look like a completely different squad.

Upside for the Canes is they have a chance to start burying the Lightning a bit. One win can make a big difference...

If we win
1. CAR 17 games, 27 points
2. FLA 16 games, 24 points
3. CHI 19 games, 22 points
4. TBL 17 games, 21 points

If we lose
1. CAR 17 games, 25 points
2. FLA 16 games, 24 points
3. TBL 17 games, 23 points
4. CHI 19 games, 22 points

If they can power through and get a tough W, expanding to a 6-point lead instead of a 2-point lead would make a world of difference in a 56-game season.
