As a fan, it seems reasonable to want your team to put their best foot forward and win. On its face, if you do not think Boldy is an improvement on several players on this roster or would be a situational improvement at times, that is fine. But we should probably reevaluate what type of prospect/player Boldy is.
The team had plenty of opportunity to bring Boldy up and give him some time to see if he could give them a dimension they may not have and refused to do so. That is on them, that’s not being an arm chair GM. That’s a fan watching the process play out and trying to understand why they outright refused to improve an otherwise good team showing some signs of being capable of making some noise in the playoffs this season.
