The six worst players for the Oilers tonight were Hyman, McDavid, Bouchard, Ekholm, Nugent-Hopkins, and Draisaitl. Inexcusably poor performances for all of them, especially defensively.

Did Knob ruin his teams chance at a cup by overplaying his big guns? Guy is just another Woodcroft
can't blame the coach imo the depth is lacking even though they did perform tonight but in general id put more blame on management than the coach, imo the coach for the oilers has been solid but he is handcuffed by the lack of solid depth.

If they can somehow offload that nurse contract then buyout Campbell and maybe get rid of one of Ceci or Kulak, then they can truly build a deep team like Dallas,Colorado of the past, and Vegas of the past.

As long as 97 is in Edmonton that won't change coach doesn't matter.

Oilers 4th line was their best, they didn't get much ice time.

What's the actual standard for that play? Seems like a horrible call at a glance but it doesnt happen often with a jump so could be by the rule book?
people keep posting one line from the rulebook and missing the part that defines charging as needing distance travelled

it was a completely ridiculous penalty and one of the worst this playoffs.
