No idea what to expect, I don't expect amazing goaltending from Pickard....but it would be fairly difficult to be worse than Skinner has been this series. Will probably be a 1 goal game like the last 3.

Vancouver's offense is mediocre. EP could change that, but it's definitely been whatever. They're being gifted goals every game and still can't manage to win by more than one. The series predictions were what they were for good reason, I suppose.
Can you provide a regular season stat that shows Vancouvers offense is mediocre?

That third string goalie is a Vezina candidate compared to Skinner. Do you really think the Canucks are at all impressive winning two one goal games against the worst playoff goalie of the last 20 years?

A win is a win.
A goal is a goal.

Doesn't matter if the pucks keep bouncing off Myers sticks or Cole's equipment.

If the puck goes in the net, it's a goal, if the puck hits a post and out, it's not a goal. It's not rocket science.

Who has made Skinner the worst goalie in the last 20 years? Who has been taking those shots and scoring those goals? The Canucks. Just as they have been doing all year. I'm not saying they are barnbeaters. but yeah, they've been impressive against a team that virtually everyone said would mop the ice with them.

Nobody underestimated the Canucks. Vancouver has been scraping out one goal games against a goalie with the worst playoff sv% since 2005. Far from a powerhouse, as was correctly predicted.
Yikes. Tell us you don’t watch hockey…..
Won the Pacific wire to wide when most had them missing the playoffs.
Honestly the lengths a few posters go to try to downplay a good team is just sad.

Agreed. Seems like no matter what the Canucks do they get no credit. They've been a good team all season long. Many of us told Oilers fans they were in for more than they thought and that is exactly what is happening. I think Oilers fans were so sure their team was going to sweep us or win in 5 that they just can't get their heads around what is happening.

dont care who is impressed or not impressed all that matters is wins.

its amazing what team defence can do for a goaltender. Silovs looks great behind the Canucks structure.

Meanwhile on the other side McDavid leaves Boeser all alone to go and check some guy in the corner and poor Skinner has to deal with a 40 goal scorer all alone. Your defence/team defence makes your goalies look worse than they should be.

As a fan of a rival team I hope your management is duped into thinking the goalie is the biggest problem here.

This is more of an Oilers thing than a Canucks thing, Oiler fans just can't give credit to any other teams until they lose, then they blame a bunch of BS. We saw them act the same way with the Knights, Jets, and Avs the past few years.

Oilers ownership and management sure doesn't mind the fans only blaming the players, as long as they keep their jobs and jerseys keep selling.

Coach/fans started the conspiracy and now the players are talking about it. Embarrassing.
Why in your view is it a conspiracy to suggest that star players get preferential treatment just like in the NBA and NFL?
Three players go into a scrum after the game and one guy delivers a two handed slash to escalate the incident but only the two non McDavid players get supplementary discipline. Sure but it’s all a conspiracy. Embarrassing indeed! 😆

No, the conspiracy about all refs and the league being out to get the Canucks. The one that started before game 1.
They aren't out to get the Canucks. The league has a mandate to help McDavid get far.

It isn't some conspiracy. The same thing was going on for years with Crosby.

There isn't any denying it. The league would like nothing more than McDavid in the cup finals.
