"He's still probably a long shot to play at all in the playoffs too"
I can't directly contradict this but I would be really surprised to see him not play in the second round, if he comes as advertised and we get the chance.

Karlsson with 2 goals. Calling it now. Which Karlsson? How many of them? We will find out.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him inserted this series after a loss. Let me get this straight: Vegas burned his ELC this year with the intention of him being a long shot to play??? Why????

So they could try to lock him up as an RFA on July 1st, trade contracts and do whatever else to make it happen without knowing exactly what they have in Gusev? The whole purpose in signing him during the playoffs is so he does not go UFA in a year, so you can keep him long term.

Take this Sin Bin character with an entire barrel of salt.

I think being up in the series is a good time to slot him in. If he looks out of place, go with 11 forwards - so what, it's been done many times. I'd like to see him on the PP.

I'd like to see them give him a try up 3-1 and with a couple more full practices under his belt, if they are going to try it at all.

SinBin is not a good analyst of the on ice product but he is a damn solid unofficial beat writer.

Then again, he did say it was just his theory.
