Looking outside of Georgiev's terrible performance in game 1, you really couldn't ask for much more from the Avs in the opening two games on the road. The defensive breakdowns from game 1 were cleaned up quite a bit, zero problem with the offense. The Jets are quite lucky, thanks to Georgiev, they're not down 0-2 heading to Colorado.
I can't wait to see Bednar get MacKinnon/Rantanen away from Lowry and Morissey back in Denver. Sheifele is screwed.
IF, and that's a huge if, Georgiev can maintain that level of play from last night the Avs should win this series. They're low key dominating the Jets 5v5 even with all the disadvantages of being on the road.
But it's Georgiev...
The biggest surprise of this series so far is how dog shit Hellebuyck has been. I heard rumors that he's a terrible postseason goalie and so far I'd tend to agree.
