You guys are some of the worst fans I’ve seen in my life. It’s pathetic.

Avs lost the season series 0-3 to the Jets this year.

Lost 4-2, 6-2 and 7-0.

17 goals against. 4 goals scored.

And aside from todays game we ended the last 20 games with a 12-8 record.

So Avs in 6
This is where we need @Sea Eagles time like these !

It feels like the Vegas series few years ago, considering the season games. AVS don’t find the right answers against some teams.
Winnipeg this year is one of them.

So everyone who is saying the Avs will lose won’t be watching the games right?

I've got Jets in 6. Avs win games 2 and 4.

I'd probably chose the Avs to win this if it weren't for Georgiev. But in a world were Georgiev easily lets in 3 a night, you're not consistently getting three past Hellebuyck.

It will be cool to see the Avs play in Winnipeg's white out. I always loved watching that in the postseason.

If the Avs have any chance of making up for Georgiev in this series it lies here:

WPG:
21st in PK
22nd in PP

COL:
12th in PK
5th in PP

For the Avs to win they are going to have to get out of their comfort zone of fancy hockey and grind it out a bit. No over passing everything needs to get on net. Pucks deep etc...

I expect the Avs to play much better than they have recently, but I don’t think it’ll be enough with Georgiev in net.

There hasn't been a series going back to the Wild where I wasn't overly confident and thinking the Avs had a shot...

This year just feels different. Legit we have the worst starting goalie in the playoffs and it's not close. I would kill for 1-eyed Kuemper right now. No confidence going into this series. But if they pull it off I'm not really scared about the other matchups

The Avs best chance is if goaltending is a total non factor in the series. Not only is Georgiev capable of losing this series on his own, but Hellebuyck can single-handedly steal the series.

I usually listen to the homer angel on my shoulder, but I'm guessing Jets in 6.
Just no faith in George or the team fixing whatever has been ailing them defensively this season.

Hoping for the best though and will still be mad with any loss the team suffers.
Think we will see promise from the 2nd line and see some value in having the bigger bottom 6, but Jets overall depth will be the difference.

I don't think Avs will win the series. Too disjointed to play competitive playoff hockey.

I hope everything snaps into place and Avs get good enough goaltending to win the series. With more time perhaps they can get something cooking.

Everybody seems to forget that the Jets went through a couple of awful 5 and 6 game losing streaks in the last couple of months where they looked absolutely cooked. Hellebuyck was getting drilled and fans in Winnipeg were climbing out on ledges. The Jets had to play lights out down the stretch just to stay ahead of Nashville.

Yes, they're hot now. But I'll take the team that's been through the SCP grind every year for the past 6 years. This is brand new territory for Winnipeg. Maybe they stay hot. Maybe not.

But I'm a fan. Which means my objectivity is questionable.

Avs in 6.

I think the Avs can win this series... they just need two things.

Whoever is in net, just can't give up soft goals at the beginning. Winnipeg is damn good at playing with the lead. If they earn a goal, fine.. tip your cap. But giving up a soft goal in the first period will have the Avs chasing the game which plays right into Winnipeg's hands.

Along with that, the Avs need to start the games strong. Far too often this season, we've seen them just not show up for the first 5-10-15 minutes of a game. They need that Joe Sacco schedule and come out of the gates on fire. Control the play for the first half of the period. Even if it is 0-0 after 10, that is a win if you're controlling the play. Wear Winnipeg down, work to be up by 1 or 2 after 1 and then force them to chase.

That's a tall order for this team, but if it happens, I could see the Avs winning in 5 or 6 games. If they get down first in say 5 of 7 games, they probably lose 4 of them to sink the ship.
