Team Canada has to crank it up in the second....the Swedes are playing a bit wide open, should make for an exciting last 2 periods!

well, on the brightside, we've controlled the play. if we stop taking ill-advised penalties and keep up this tempo we should be ok.

A bit too many penalties, but pretty entertaining stuff none the less.

A lucky 3-2 lead, but there's no doubt in my mind that Sweden will lose this one. Our defensive zone play isn't exactly great and it haven't been good in any game in this tournament. But as long as we got the puck, we're pretty OK.

I like how Calder got away with stealing Holmqvist's stick before netting.

Considering Swedens luck this first period Canada have played amazing. Great drive. We did them a tremendous favor on the their first goal but after that they have been strong.

Sweden needs to collect themselfs and comeback in the 2nd. We haven't settled down and aren't comfortable in our own end yet. The start of the 2nd is really important.

3 penalties for shanahan in the first period.

The elbow call on him against Kronwall wheren't much to do. Shanny is pretty tall and Kronwall kind of fell into his elbow. The ref where standing down the ice and only saw the elbow...
