This is a more exciting game than the Canadian game this morning.

I think the chechz seems to be a little bit stronger. Sweden playing on too few lines, hence the penalties.

I agree. It's even but it's pretty obvious which team is the stronger. Nice spelling there by the way. ;)

Jagr finally took a shot...towards the end of the period...he's having no trouble cutting into the slot, from off the right wing a couple of times. The Swedish defence is undersized against him...I'm suprised the Swedes don't fight to keep Mattias Norstrom matched with big 68.
The Czechs are slowly taking the game over...(I think).
The 4on4 sequence was very telling of what team is under control...it was 85% Czech control/chances.

Question: Why do the TSN guys keep referring to Thomas Rhodin as "just 24 years old"? Everywhere I've checked, his birth year is 1971, making him 34 years old!

Can the Swedish contingency on this board confirm this?

Thanks.

Most likely a misprint in their papers.

He's way past 30. Kronwall is the 24 year old.
