Bordeur looked weak on that one...commiting waaay too early...but its Hannan who is costing us chances against.

Brodeur has had bad games saved by great defenses in the past.

But in this tourney the defensemen haven't saved him.

But his decision making on that second Slovakian goal was as bad as it gets.

At least Heatley scored, that's the only bright side to the game so far.

Right, and he's never saved his defense or team. That may explain why New Jersey became a Cup-caliber team upon his arrival and why his own teammates voted him as their MVP for seven years in succession (prior to last season).

But the most important thing was wonderful finishing from Hanzus(?), cool head and soft hands there!

Canada isn't going to win this game if they let Slovakia get too many breakaways. Look at Chech vs Sweden last WC, you give a team like that breakaways you are smoked.

He just had to shoot it over Brodeur flailing like a fish.

Which is so easy thing to do, he had to rise it just enough to get over B and not too much for it to get over. That window wasn´t at all so large as you seem to suggest..
