this is the game i've been looking forward too, hopefully our D can hold thier ground and win the battles. Marty needs to be better and sharper then he was against latvia, anyone who can't get up for this game shouldn't be in this tourny. that being said GO Canada.

This is going to be a tough test for the United States. I watched the first two games (against Slovenia and Latvia), and while the U.S. had some nice spurts, they (in particular the defense) were pretty lax for some long stretches, and that isn't going to fly against Canada. I have liked the play of several of the forwards, especially Weight, Parrish, and Cole, but more players, including Mike Modano have to step up and keep up the pressure on a Canadian defense that has been a bit inconsistent. Whoever starts in goal for the U.S. will have to be on top of their game as well. I predict a 5-3 Canadian victory, but wouldn't be surprised if the U.S. pulled out the win.

Way up north...
3-1 for Canada. It will be a tight checking and rough game. Canadian goals will be scored by Heatley,Nash  and Souray. The American goal will be scored by Weight. I expect a great game from both teams and I can't wait to watch Canada play against a good team like the USA.

As I can´t purchase and watch the Video-Broadcast here in Germany :(:(:( and the game won´t be on TV for whatever reason, I would love to at least listen to the game... Does anyone know a station that is broadcasting the game?

3-1 Canada.

Dipietro will start and play really well - yet Pierre McGuire will mention the Luongo trade 7 times. :deadhorse

the funy thing is, Dipietro wasn't even technically involved in the trade. It will be funny though because you are right, and Parrish will also likely play quite well.
