what happened to the guy who had to be carried off with a stretcher?
I only saw the replay of him gettin checked, he seemed to be okay at first but then skated to the bench and the announcer said something like "his fellow teammates noticed he couldnt move a bit" ...
i hope its not too serious

:shakehead there's a fight (as always when Italy's losing). Tony Iob, Michele Strazzabosco and Armin Helfer for Italy and Vadym Shakhraychuk for Ukraine received a misconduct.

Jesus... big enough for a hockey story (non-NHL, no less) to make ESPN.com's top headlines...

"After Ukraine scored into an empty net with just over two minutes left to play, the contest deteriorated into a series of skirmishes that spilled over into the hallways under the stands when the ejected players left the ice."

Well, Ukraine has accomplished what they were set out to do and that was to qualify for the next round.

It won't be easy for the Ukrainians as they reunite rivalries against Russia, Belarus and Slovakia.

It's unfortunate to see what happened to Isayenko, thoughts go out to him this hour as we wait to see if he's okay. The Italians knew they were on their way out, so they had to take down a player with them, it's disappointing to see this.
