Canada can't underestimate the Danes, I think it was 5 years ago now that on opening day Denmark won 4-3 over Canada. With that said I expect Canada to win so i say 5-2. Bergeron 2, Calder, Carter, Crosby.

2-0 Canada. The combination of Canada's inexperience at the senior level, on international ice and as a team, plus Denmark's playing their best game of the tournament, will keep this game close.

Remember, Canada needed two third period goals to tie Austria 2-2 in the opening game of the 2004 Worlds, and we all remember how that tournament ended. Canada always starts slow at the WChamps.
