On the other hand, if things change, it's good to have that in the system. And if he develops? Well, there's always a dumb GM who will over pay for size.

I've noticed a ton of hockey players are like this. Bean poles who look big because of their equipment. His overall size will still make him hard to move, I would imagine.

We may have won the Cup, but we desperately needed more size throughout the organization. Good move. I don't think it's a coincidence that W-B/S has now signed two team captains, one from the OHL and one from the ECAC.

How was Loney over the past season? I thought he looked decent in last years preseason or rookie tournament, whichever it was.
