It’s part of that lower Rhine megalopolis with Essen and Duisburg and Dusseldorf. And by European standards it’s a fairly young city so not a lot of history or a tourist hotspot.

Well let's just say that you haven't missed out on something big. As mentioned above, it's like 30 minutes north of Düsseldorf. I am actually quite suprised that he would move there. They were dead last and are having huge financial troubles, so he won't be playing there for the money.

That being said, Krefeld is actually a good place to live. You are close to Cologne and Düsseldorf, yet also not in a big city. You are also close to Düsseldorf airport if you wanna go on a trip through Europe

Also good they re-signed Robert but IMO he should’ve gotten an ELC. Not like we have a ton of prospects. He wouldn’t take an NHL contract away from a better player.
