So how was it?
Good stuff. I highly recommend their Straight from the Barrel if you can get your hands on a bottle...which runs as high as 130 proof.
Haven't cracked this one yet but really looking forward to trying it:

This Blanton’s is amazing. But as other’s have said the Straight from the Barrel is incredible but $$$.
For me, this and the Gold are about the pick of the lot. Smooth, complex and great for sippin’ neat. Not my preferred bourbon to put in an Old Fashioned though...
Anyone that drinks Eagle Rare semi-regularly, go ahead and snatch it up while you can. It won a ton of awards again and will be sought after more than usual and probably go up in price.
Lipton blackcurrant flavoured tea.
Yamazaki 18 is very good. Enjoy.
I've heard great things. Anything you could compare it to?
RRSB Ol’ Fashioned
Added 2 new bourbons today, a bottle of Eagle Rare and a bottle of Makers 46 Barrel Select
It's a solid whisky with honey notes. Japanese whiskys don't really have much peat quality to them so it depends on what Japanese whiskys you've had before.
Surprisingly good for a random $19.99 purchase on the way to PA for camping.
Bought a bottle of The Shin 15 years, japanese whiskey last night. I'm not huge into Malt whiskys, but it's really really good
0-1 series after a pair of third period Marc Staal goals, what are we drinking?
I DRANK SUM VERRRRYYY FANCY STUFF. AND IT DID NOT ALLEVIATE THE BITTER TRUTH
BTW I AM INVOLVED IN A 3M$D+ LAWSUIT vs MY FORMER CHEATING PARTNER DUE TO FRAUD. SO PLS WISH ME LUCK (TRIAL STARTS NOVEMBER 5) AS THIS HAS BEEN UTTERLY DESTROYING ME FOR 10 YEARS AND....YEAH WELL. IT AINT GOOD. AT ALL. 2 MAJOR HEART ATTACKS AND ONE OPEN HEART DOUBLE BYPASS SURGERY LATER...
Yeesh... good luck
I'll be at work until 8pm but will salute the "effort" by hitting some red wine tonight
My job was finally furloughed because of how dead our market is.
I applied for unemployment on Wednesday but I’m stuck, not sure what to do.
I have a degree in PR, a degree in criminal justice, military/law enforcement experience, sales experience, a ton of executive assistant type experience. I need to replace about 75k of income or we’re going to have a very hard time keeping up with our bills and rent. It hasn’t been an easy road since I left the military.
so that said... I’m trying to soak up and enjoy as much hockey as possible regardless of results, drank a 6 of landshark during the game, a bomber of some polish porter from my fiancé’s home town after the game and now it’s four roses. Cheers.
AND your car broke down and your dog ran away all in the same week? Rough. GL.
