His daughter claimed he was on Oxygen and it was tough to speak, so neither report is exactly wrong.

Was Cody Latimer going to make the final 5 WRs kept on the roster? Trying to decide how much to care about this.

He might have made the final 5 but he is nothing more than a cheap vet. It would be best that his spot go to a rookie whether he got arrested or not.

This is just silly. They need to have testing sufficient that they can play games without the assumption that players are infected. Same with basketball and hockey. Cannot have a contact sport with guys huffing and puffing and sweating and grabbing all over each other, and try to protect them with obstructive masks.

They say the virus can hang in the air after people speak for up to three hours. Now picture offensive linemen across from each other huffing and puffing, the center screaming out calls. Imagine the huddle with 10 guys tightly wrapped around the QB who is talking, of the QB barking the signals at the LOS. If you could actually see the virus, it would look like Pig Pen from Peanuts with a cloud of it floating around each of these guys.

Just make the testing work and play with confidence. If only we had a government agency that was responsible for this sort of thing...

Test every player before every game? And practice? And meeting?

I would be down for setting up for a big off-season of spending . But like the article says we don’t really have that much fat left to trim on the roster

Alex Smith and Kerrigan are free agents

well one of them is at least....but not Smith, however his guarantees are done after this season.

Curious to see the design. They could totally build a full shield with filtration. Combined with accurate on the spot testing and other precautions, I’d seriously consider anything to increase safety and reduce risk today. I’m not skoffing at anything short of ingesting bleach lol.....

Wouldn't blame the guy in the least if he lost his shit over allegations of abuse towards his son but the article doesn't make it sound like this was a scorned father looking for revenge against his child's abusers. The article reads as though some guys had too much to drink and got into a stupid argument over a card game and Lattimer's attorney is looking for a way to cast his client in the best possible light so he doesn't lose his job.
