Yup. 99/100 times players should maximize their earning potential every step of the way. This dude broke his leg for "The Star" last season and seven months later he's dumped to save a few mil in cap space.

IMO, the world of NFL contracts is absurd, but I believe in honoring a commitment personally.

I’m on the let the young receivers play train. I’m a massive fan of Harmon, and I’m highly intrigued by McLaurin and Sims. I’d really like to see them get snaps.

For a 4th rounder, I agree. He’s got speed, but that’s about it.

That said, he took a while to get it going at Penn State. So maybe it’s the same here.

At worst, he should be a valuable special teams player based on his speeds and tackling ability

Apke isn't a total waste. He is a valuable Teams player.

Flowers said OL coach Bill Callahan has helped broaden his game by "taking different sets as opposed to just sitting back... Sometimes jump setting, sometimes kicking then jumping as opposed to always kicking back. I've done that most of my career and it hasn't been effective."

There was a time when the NYG had one of the best OL coaches in the game and they routinely took 4th and 5th rounders and made them studs. Now we're taking their high first rounder and hoping we can coach him up much better than he got at the NYG. God bless ya, Redskins, Keep on keeping on!
