I've said before I think Heineke has the "it" factor and has a chance to become the starter, his ability to stay healthy being his main obstacle. He's only 28 so if he can stay on the field we could get 6-8 good years out of him. Fitz was always only ever a stopgap.

If nothing else Beer Man will make a great backup, with half the town wishing he was the starter, just like the Sonny/Billy, Heath/Gus or Bob/Kirk years LOL

agreed, he seems to have the swagger and the smarts/skills, but not sure he’s got the physical attributes to survive. I think he’d be a nice change of pace option on a drive here or there…

Yeah. At least they are testing positive in July and not September...

Maybe. John Rahm tested positive twice, just 2 months apart, iirc. Kuzy got it 4 months apart.

It's looking like Delta is virulent enough to break through the vaccine if given enough exposure. The vaccine offers some protection and keeps you from dying but if you're going to restaurants full of unvaccinated people breathing rona balls all over the place it might not hold up.

Scherff was masking earlier this week so he likely hasn't gotten the shot.
