Isn't that the same as their last 3rd jersey?
missed opportunity imo
Should be full-time.
the blue ones will forever be my favorite
lol at the NHL twitter saying "These NHL jerseys keep getting better and better"
A lot of shade to the early releases
I've also been very underwhelmed with the third jerseys in general this season. So many rehashes or callbacks.
Caps missed a golden opportunity by not doing something with the eagle, either the 90s eagle or the Weagle.
This is just the exact same as their last 3rd jersey, which is not to say its bad, but its certainly not as exciting as the NHL twitter wants us to believe.
my god, so ugly
They look good, but would have preferred with a thinner stripe at the bottom, or just the blue eagle as GoCaps2004 suggested.
i liked these.....color scheme is a little off tho
would purchase, wear, again and again.
Mine too. Anyone know why they have the 5 stars though?
Nothing to dislike about this, it's the jersey from their first 20 years with some very minor alterations.
Thank god they didn't go with the old copper and blue. That's a neat color scheme but an awful jersey and really never fit with the identity of that franchise IMO.
Hopefully helmets are optional too in honor of Langway being one of the last players to not wear one. I guess that was the first thing I thought of when I saw that jersey.
Idk if the number of stars means anything, tbh.
The Flying Eagle had 5, the White house had 2, the original and the retro have 6, and the current logo has 3
And then shoulders and pants have been inconsistent as well - the third has 4 on the sleeve and 5 on the pants, to (not) match the 6 on the logo
I hope one day the Caps will release a jersey with a decent logo, not just lettering. And this is coming from a fan with nasty traffic stopping construction yellow lol
I like those 3rd jerseys. That logo for the Caps is probably their best ever.
I hope you are joking
Those are so sexy my god
I always liked this Caps design. The stars down the sleeve are a little... something. I'm not sure what the word is, but they turn me off a bit. Otherwise, really cool design.
6 is too many (as you can plainly see)
I like it.
