IIRC the Caps played a 2-3 pp set up. Ov had not gotten his office yet.
Over the course of BB's tenure they played a normal overload, an umbrella, and a 1-3-1 set-up. The 1-3-1 involved Ovie in the middle of the formation, though (and was a more traditional 1-3-1 with the down low forward playing the net front traffic role).

Bruce would be a terrific assistant. Would be a little karma for him to win a Cup as an AC vs an HC, and in DC.

I doubt he’d take it.

Being an AC under Keefe means he will get a chance to be HC soon, in Tor, IMO

Being an AC under Lavy means he won’t get a chance to HC soon, in Wash, IMO

he’s gonna want a chance to be HC. Won’t happen in DC anytime soon. Certainly not Lavy yr 1
