The Washington Capitals have promoted a pair of prime-time NHL prospects into their lineup this year, with the highly-touted duo of Evgeny Kuznetsov *and Andre Burakovsky making the team out of camp. Although fluctuating ice time has somewhat limited their overall impact, both were in the early season Calder Trophy conversation—and have continued to produce solid numbers.

Schilling is 26. He's aged out.

Galiev is a rather glaring oversight, though. He ought to be around eighth.

lol whoever writes for some of these Capitals posts always underestimates Grubi and over values Vanecek to no end. Some of these are just laughable.

Also forgot to mention the Caps' fanbase. I think we have lots of potential, I'd say -- 8.5D. Good hockey IQ with a fast release (very precise when it doesnt go into row 20), but also sometimes wildly inconsistent with a history of some bad concussions. Can pass, but doesn't like to. Coach killing tendencies -- but very loyal to the franchise.
