That looks interesting. I'm happy for the setting that's true to novel.
Since it wasn't answered by the trailer and I had to look it up, it's a three-part miniseries. Oddly, it's premiering on a New Zealand channel this Sunday (Oct 13th) and doesn't have an actual BBC air date yet, just "late 2019."
Coincidentally, there's another War of the Worlds TV adaptation airing later this month. It's by Fox/Canal+ and consists of 8 episodes. It's set in modern times, though. I'm much more interested in the faithful setting of the BBC series.
