DiPauli & Prow are both UFAs.

Geez. I read that THREE times as "DiPauli & Prow are both now UFAs" and was like..wtf...how do you change contract status mid-way through year. Oops.

Yea, theres a bunch of guys i'd be playing over Wilson. Blandisi would be at the top of my list.
He can pk as well and be a threat short handed.

Seems they've been better since they got their veteran D back in the fold.
Hopefully that bolds well for the big club and JS.

DiPauli has been out since like late Nov...
They tried Blandisi at C for a game or 2 and is back to wing.
Looks like Angello didn't play last night. Assume he's dinged up.
On D youngin's, seems they like Abt alot.
Dunno if Taylor is injured or not...

hey bobby, how would you rate the top prospects in line for the next call up?

Haggerty's getting hot atm.

Blandisi
Haggerty-Dea-Prow

In terms of youngin's they're all pretty equal. All are having decent to pretty good seasons.

Johnson would top the list then
Angello, Lafferty, Militec
are pretty equal.

Blandisi's probably the top guy 5g5a in 10gp for Wilkes.

Miletic's a fun one - I remember being really impressed by him in the pre-season. Nice hard n' fast pinball style with decent enough hands. He's got a pretty impressive pace for a 20 year old in the AHL too. I can't see him getting the next call up or even one of the next three but I think he could be the best out of all of them in the long run.

Any chance Johnson will be ready to go next year? Seems like he'd be a good fit on the 4th line. Energy/ speed type guy?

Going from boxcars/Guerin's comments/some highlights... I think the big question with Johnson is consistency (which is possibly tied into his strength). He's been hot and cold down there and realistically that isn't flying up in the NHL. But, if he can keep his current form going until the end of the season, if this is him cracking the code... then I think he's potentially a strong mid-season addition for next year.
