Personally I hope he gets left off the list and uses it as motivation like he did with the WJC team last year he was a different player with a chip on his shoulder I think he deserves to win it but I would love to see that chip on his shoulder again.

Definitely help. Not often you see a sophomore contend for the Hobey

I don't think it helps or hurts to be honest I think they will choose the best and it tends to be the best offensive player so as long as he keeps his ppg close to 2 he should have a solid chance at winning it.
