Wanted him in Dallas but at that price point I’d rather take the L of losing Gregory. Holyyyyy

This has to be one of those contact values that the agent leaks to the media to make him look good and the real truth is it's very easy for BUF to get out of it.

Otherwise, WOW.
Von was drafted same year as Cam. 11 year vets who are not QBs don’t get that kind of contract wi Tb the guaranteed money associated with it.

I now understand why George Paton didn't reach out to Von

Wonder what the guarantee numbers are

It's all about guaranteed money. 120 mill doesn't mean much.

Full details not out but he is getting $34 mill guaranteed. So that is under 2 years average. But that’s not counting his base salary for the upcoming season

Whether it’s 4 years with team options or 6 years at all both are completely insane for a 33 year old at any position beside qb

It's being reported it's essentially a three year deal. Still a lot for a soon to be 33 year old who isn't at his peak anymore, but Miller's peak is defensive player of the year- so even at 32 he's a really f***ing good DE who brings it in the playoffs. On top of that, he's a great mentor for Buffalo's young D line. I like it, but understand it's risky. Buffalo is in win now mode, so I'm good with them taking chances.

Years 5 and 6 are team options.

Still with that in mind, 4/70 for a 33 year old LB who has already started to slow down is pretty nuts.
Being reported that they can get out of it after three years, which is much easier to swallow.

Yea it's a 3 year deal and the rest is just tossed in for fun and likely to give the Bills more room to mess around with the salary cap later.

He's still one of the best in the league at his position and it's a clear position of need for the Bills. Huge upgrade to their defense.
