It's a pretty popular college sport and the US usually does well in the Olympics. There are professional beach volleyball players but I don't know about regular volleyball.

A somewhat popular college sport on the women's side. That's about it though.

Yeah, i know that USA is top when it comes to Olympic. But never heard about some profi league in USA.

AVP Beach Volleyball used to come to Milwaukee every year, but not in 2017. They stopped in Chicago in September. They play 2-on-2 like the Olympics, with a lot of the same men and women. There are amateur leagues in Milwaukee that play all summer at Bradford Beach. I work with a guy that plays on Mondays and Thursdays. I am not talking about 1 or 2 nets, more like 12 or 15 were set up. A few bars have their own leagues, usually they have 1 or 2 nets, but play a few nights a week at 3 or 4 locations that I know about.

Here there are tons of rec volleyball leagues. We even have our own 'VolleyDome' which is cool. College volleyball is pretty big but that's about it.
