How to Get There:
On Interstate 64 East:
Exit on 14th Street, make a left, make a left on Clark.
On Interstate 44 East:
Exit at Jefferson Avenue and proceed north to Chouteau Avenue. Turn right at Chouteau, then left at 18th Street, and follow signs to nearby parking facilities.
On Interstate 55 North:
Take the Downtown Exit to Memorial Drive. From Memorial Drive, turn left at Market Street, then left at Tucker to Clark. At Clark, turn left or right to access area parking. (Turn right at Clark to reach the garage attached to Scottrade Center). Or, follow signs to other nearby parking facilities.
On Interstate 70 East:
Take the Memorial Drive exit to Market Street. Proceed west on Market Street and turn left at Tucker to Clark. At Clark, turn left or right to access area parking. (Turn right at Clark to reach the garage attached to Scottrade Center). Or, follow signs to other nearby parking facilities.
From Illinois:
Take I-64 (U.S. 40) westbound to the 9th Street Exit. Turn left on Clark Avenue to access parking facilities along Clark Avenue east of Scottrade Center or proceed six blocks to the garage attached to Scottrade Center. Follow signs to reach other nearby parking facilities. (Illinois guests may also exit I-64 at the 21st Street at Market exit just west of Scottrade Center, then proceed east to Scottrade Center).
MetroLink:

Get off on Union Station for Scottrade Center.
Other important stops: Stadium is Busch Stadium, Convention Center is the Edward Jones Dome.
Practice Facility:
Depending on when you're in town, you might be able to watch a Blues practice, if it's open to the public.
The Blues practice out at an ice rink attached to a mall. It's called the STL Ice Zone and is attached to the newly renamed St. Louis Outlet Malls. People will still refer to it as 'The Mills'

Where to Eat:
Restaurants around Scottrade Center
St. Louis is also decently well known for having a neighborhood hotspot of Italian food, known locally as "The Hill". Everyone has their own personal favorite, but here's a list of some of the restaurants in the neighborhood, which is South of Forest Park. Try the toasted ravioli!
Another famous St. Louis culinary landmark is Ted Drewes, home of the concrete.

I am going to try and add the Blues arena to my "hockey" visits this fall and had a couple of questions about the seats.
When will single game tickets go on sale?
Also, was looking on stubhub and had questions about "glass" section and "plaza center"?
It has several rows listed as glass? It just seems like it should be one row.
Also had a glass section between the benches? in 103?
And where are the visitors benches?

Hey guys, so me and 3 buddies are planning a cross country trip with stops in St. Louis (on the way out), Phoenix, Los Angeles, Anaheim and Dallas (on the way home). We're going to set out from the Pittsburgh area and drive the 5100 miles round trip for the 5 games.

Anyway, on task. Being college students we want to get tickets as cheaply as humanly possible. I'll be checking this site, ebay, stubhub and ticketexchange but I'm wondering if there are any other Blues specific tips you guys have. About how much do you think we'll spend for 4 tickets to a game?

It has several rows listed as glass? It just seems like it should be one row. Like I said I can only assume it's glass obstructed views because the ticket sales guy will recommend sitting just above the eye line for it at certain locations

Historically Columbus gets low draws so there's a slightly higher chance they'll have a student discount night planned for that game. It's usually once a month and on weekdays or early day games on the weekend.

But that will depend on how the Blues are doing. If they are rocking and rolling (as expected) tickets may run you a pretty penny.

I'm assuming either way you could score four tickets for $100-$175 total.

Driving that distance I wouldn't leave buying from scalpers to chance. Better to have your tickets already. All of the sites mentioned are good options for cheap seats though.

$25-$45. Could be cheaper if you get them from a scalper or craigslist..

How late does the metrolink trains run? A whole slew of us are joining even a bigger group of Preds fans on October 8th for the Preds/Blues game. I know my group is most likely staying at the Renaissance hotel. After the game, we will be at the Landing area and the casino's. Just don't know if trains run back across the interstate after say 2am? Also, how is the Anaheuser tour? That's in the plans before the game.

I would think end of this month/1st week of September. I would not go the scalping route for the home opener, try Stubhub if you don't want to use Ticketmaster.

Depending on what the Cardinals do could be have some bearing on prices but you can bet it would be sold out regardless.

BUT, since its vacation, you should definitely splurge and go on the Beermaster tour. Cost $25 bucks per person. Pretty much everywhere that the normal tour stops, you get to continue beyond. And you get a private reception room afterward, complete with beer samples.

But the best part is that you get to sample some beer straight from a finishing tank. They give you a glass to use, but I stuck my head under the stream and drank it as fresh as can be. The tour guide thought we were all funny for doing it, but it was the start to my buddies bachelor party, so we didn't care.

VERY IMPORTANT: You must wear closed toed shoes on the tour, or they will not let you go. The tour actually goes on the packaging floor, and there is a chance of broken glass.

I've been on the regular tour about five or six times with various family and friends when they visit, and been on the Beermaster tour twice. It is WELL worth the $25.

To be honest it might be a little simpler for him to just stalk Andy Strickland radio shows, when they have the players as guests its very easy to get a little one on one in and ask a favor. They're usually done in places like Hot Shots or Jonny Mac's so it's not hard to find. (obviously he announces his guests in advance but won't be doing that until the season is underway since most of them were probably out of town to begin with)

I know there's probably not a bad seat in the house, but anyone have recommendations on some of the better viewing sections? (I'm thinking one of the corners would give us a great view of the whole ice).

Yeah I would think just try to stick yourself on the visitors shoot twice end right before the bowl starts to make it's corner... even at the mezzanine level you can see everything.
