A similarly aged winger who can hold their own in a middle 6 role with the potential for more. Not super familiar with MTL so not sure what a fair ask would be.

There’s no point in trading Steen as it appears he’s going to be on LTIR and his contract is up at the end of the season.

I doubt the Blues are going to use Dunn to offset Bozak's contract. Dunn, himself, is cost-controlled, so he's on the way out, it's likely because they're getting a similar young scoring forward. Maaaaybe a higher end defensive prospect who is a couple years away could be the basis for a Dunn trade. It's possible the Blues staff likes Boqvist, but Dunn is a lot more proven, so I doubt that would fly.

Steen is going to LTIR, after which he's probably going to retire. No need to dump his contract. Due to Steen (and Tarasenko) going on LTIR we also don't have to move Bozak, who is a valued player that doesn't need to go. Our capsituation is fine.
How about something around Mercer for Dunn? Higher end prospect for a certified top 4 defender.

Our prospect pool is almost depleted, we could use good prospects at every position, if it's a LHD I prefer a player that is at least a couple of years away as we already have Perunovich, Mikkola and Walman.
We had a couple of posters on the Blues forum that really liked Jan Mysak, so him + a pick / another prospect could be interesting.
The fact that the devils apparently tried to sign bogo would suggest that we are looking at righties, so possible we see Ty Smith playing his natural side as opposed to his off hand. If that's the case, we don't really have a spot for a lefty currently

"No" is an answer too, so that's fine.
My thoughtprocess: before the draft multiple Devil fans were fine with trading pick nr 18 for Dunn and a capdump (Steen/Bozak/Allen) while they knew a player of his capacity could be available at that pick.

Roslovic for Dunn would be lovely for Jets. This off-seasons market is so crazy that can't tell if it's enough tho

Wow those are really bad. Bozak and Steen only have 1 year left. We are at the cap and Steen- tarasenko are on ltir. Totally bogus for blues

Done. I like Kuok's potential versatility, i feel like he will be able to play up and down the lineup. That and Dunn's cap savings make this a winner for me.
He is at least better than Kuokkanen who people have discussed here. You could do much worse if you cant re-sign Dunn
