Heard about this, was a bit unexpected IMO. I figured given the fact they drafted a tight end this year that Rudolph would be on the move.

Wasn't expecting him back. Vikings have drafted a TE 5 straight years now, but Smith Jr. definitely felt like a different kind of investment. Rudolph a solid TE, nothing more, nothings less. So many options for pass-catchers now, but if the O-line doesn't hold up once again, none of that will matter.
