I also just beat Red Dead 2 and can't say enough good things about that game. It was fantastic. Even the epilogue was fun as hell. I have visions of going back to do a bunch of extra side missions, but we'll see if that pans out.

They do need to pump some more content into the online portion, but the single player story was almost perfect for me.

I finished last week and I am still grieving. I legit miss the characters. Need a DLC story soon!!

Still unwilling to buy the game since R* will not commit to PC. It sucked at first, but I have absolutely no need to play the game now and no regrets. Just way too many games to play and not enough time.

Sadly, we're going to have to wait till later this year for the PC version. That's my feeling about it. If they give us some bullshit like it's hard to develop it for the PC then they will never be getting my money again.

I really need to play more RE2 and get more playthroughs.

I'm a console guy so I have no complaints there. The only issue I have is that they tried to pass RDR2 off as an HDR game and it's not actually HDR. The visuals are still amazing but I'd love to see it in true HDR.

Yeah even with a PC release still not interested. They are obviously following the same business model as GTA5 where they WILL release an enhanced version for the new console generation AND PC. They are all about double dipping and getting people to play the lame money making online experience.

Has anyone picked up Ace Combat 7? The last one I played was 5 on the PS2. Wondering if its worth the buy

I have not, but was wondering the same thing in the same scenario. Everything I see online says that this game is pretty good, with the online multiplayer a work in progress.

My buddy only ever plays the single player portion to games and his favorite series is Ace Combat. He loves it.

Anybody playing Apex Legends?

I thought it would be very 12 year old ish like fortnite. But the fact that you can’t build and it’s first person makes it fun for me. That and the characters all have some use to them.

I’ve been doing pretty well at it, usually getting a few wins a night. I feel like all the 12 year old fortniters are coming to play and meeting us OG cod4 guys and just shitting on them lol.

Sorry you suck at it @Striiker ;)

Yes, I'm enjoying Apex much more than Fortnite (which I did enjoy, but I can't build anything more than a basic 1x1, so I have a skill cap). Much more gun battle and tactic oriented than Fortnite, and the different classes are a nice difference as well.

I agree. I played fortnite for about 2 weeks. Didn’t like the building aspect (probably because I was so bad at it lol). I like PUBG more because of the realistic feel and customizing weapons. I guess Apex is kind of a mixture of both with a tad of Titanfall added.

My favorite legends have been - Lifelong, Wraith, Bangalore, Mirage, and Pathfinder.

I've been playing the resident evil 2 remake, which has been awesome.

I played it on Standard difficulty as Claire first, then did Leon 2nd run, then did Claire 2nd Run on Assisted to mop up some of the Achievements.

Then I did the first couple of hours as Leon on Hardcore, before deciding to take a break from the intensity. So now I'm playing Forza Horizon 2, which is a super chill game by comparison.

I went Leon first. The first copy of RE2 I had, the Leon disk got too scratched to complete. On Claire (first run thru now). Will do Leon 2nd and Claire 2nd later, as well.

I'm glad that most of my friends waited on reviews for Anthem before trying to force me to play it. Sounds just like the repetitive garbage I figured it would be.

I finally beat Kingdom Hearts 3 and went on to Darksiders 3 to discover that yet again, another series decides to jump on the "Let's copy Dark Souls!" bandwagon. God I wish Dark Souls was never created because it ruined good old-fashioned hack and slash games. if you're Joe Schmo Adventurer then fine, let random scrubs be able to kick your ass. If you're the freaking God of War or Horseman of the Apocalypse you shouldn't have to worry about dying to freaking cannon fodder!

Keep in mind also, it has the same review score (currently) as Crackdown 3 at 63%. That is saying something. EA and Bioware f***ed up hard. In all seriousness, I can't see Bioware surviving this. They bombed with ME Andromeda and now they did even worse with Anthem. If you go by what happened with Visceral, I could see the studio going under after 2 straight bombs.

Oh but don't worry, your same-game-every-year sports game from EA will be out this year and maybe a new Battlefront and Battlefield. Talk about stagnant as f*** from EA and people are getting tired of it.

EA and Blizzard are both gonna die at this rate.

Honestly, I think Blizzard is done for unless they really pull out all the stops for something huge. Like Diablo 4 might save them. But nope, they decided to show off a f***ing mobile game that is being developed by a company that made ripoff Diablo games. Doesn't help that Overwatch has basically gotten stale and it feels like it's just treading water at this point.
