Yeah traded teddy and 2 1sts to see for myself. 88overall 5yellow star. Bumped up to 90 before preseason.


Walked away with a ton of trophies this year but no cup.

just before the pre-season games there will be a day (about a week or two before) where the game will seem to pause for a second then show a message (i forget what it says). during that pause, the statistical growth is reset, and their natural ratings will be boosted (on top of any natural growth gained during the previous season)

It happens when the owner tells you how many wins he wants

haha yeah let the prospect game simulate then the day before the draft check the game stats. it lists the Overalls for everyone. they are more accurate if you have a better Pro Scout, but ive never found it to be all that innaccurate

how do you check the stats after the game simmed to find the overalls?

GM Options > Scouting > Prospect Game Stats > skim through every player, their overall is top left under their name. dont forget to check goalies too

McDavid was an 88 ovr with 5 Green Stars when I drafted him. I've never seen that before. This is the same file where a ton of my players are growing at an exponential rate. (No I did not edit any players)

I firmly believe I have a fluke file. Way too many favorable things have happened. Severson has become a 92ovr at age 22. He also just signed for 8 years at 2.5M The 92 is permanent too it is not that temporary growth. McDavid has never been over a 70 until this file he also never had 5 Green stars it was always 4 1/2 Green.

Like I said, I bet if I restarted I'd never get him this good again.

It was crazy, meanwhile Merrill had a 66 point year in Albany and didn't grow at all. Kind of ridiculous.

Im guessing the college boys turned AHL are now in the game? I haven't had time to play be a gm yet this year between GTA and EASHL, seems like the prospects are now relevant right away besides only the top few in previous seasons.. It is harder to make trades or can you still trade 4 mediocre players for a superstar?

No unfortunately I had to create Merrill, Wedgewood, Helgeson and Santini. I also created Gelinas because I'm sick and tired of him being only 6'2" when he should be 6'4" EA also made him black. They need to fire everyone doing rosters over there.

Killzone to get a good idea of what to look forward to visually on the PS4. Then get all the awesome looking indie games until the new inFAMOUS in February.

Debating about preordering Batman: Arkham Origins. Money is not an issue, I have $150 on my Amazon account to spend. It's just a matter of, do I have to get it immediately, or should I wait? Iunno man, I'm conflicted.

I am a major Batman fan though, so that's why I really want it. It looks so much like Arkham City, which is not a bad thing at all.
