</p>After playing 14 NHL games over the past two seasons, Buffalo Sabres forward Sam Reinhart finally cashed in, scoring his first NHL goal – the only goal of the game for Buffalo – in a 2-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Early in the first period with the Sabres working in the Lightning zone, Tampa Bay defenseman Slater Koekkoek passed the puck up the right wall to forward Alex Killorn.
