A player known for his ever-present smile had a reason to flash that grin on Monday night as Ottawa Senators‘ rookie Curtis Lazar scored his first NHL goal in what ended up a 5-4 shootout loss to the surging Buffalo Sabres.

lol, the kid was so damned happy. Love to see it.

Now send him to the WJC camp on a high note.

Agreed. Lazar can obviously play in this league but it would be nice to give Pageau a chance this year to play as well...he's earned it
