</p>The Boston Bruins looked to the top Finnish league for some reinforcements in the offseason, with that move starting to pay some dividends. Forward Joonas Kemppainen picked up his first two points – including his first NHL goal – and first star honors in the Bruins’ 5-3 win over the New York Islanders.

With the Islanders leading 2-1 in the final five minutes of the second period, New York defenseman Calvin de Haan retrieved the puck along the right boards in his own zone, then attempted to clear the puck from his end.… read more
