Two NHL rookies netted their first career goals on Tuesday night, while another newcomer scored one on the weekend that had been previously overlooked. The Boston Bruins’ Seth Griffith and the Winnipeg Jets’ Adam Lowry each registered their first NHL goal on Tuesday while the St. Louis BluesJori Lehtera netted his in a Saturday win.

Griffith managed to stick with the Bruins to start the 2014-15 season, and finally started paying dividends in the Bruins 5-3 win over the San Jose Sharks.… read more

I've been hyped on Griffith since he was drafted and I think he might end up being the best NHL player out of our entire forward prospect crop except for Pastrnak. Despite him taking a little while to get his point, he really seems to understand the game.

He's got the shot and hockey smarts to stay in the NHL for sure and be a good player.
