I remember I was in Amsterdam at a bar when I got the news...couldn't even talk with people about it cause it didn't mean anything to them, that was weird. I always share my story of how at the 2000 nhl player awards he was walking passed me, and I reached out my hand in attempt to receive a handshake...he looked my way, reached out his hand and shook the hand of the person next to me, I was devastated haha.
