</p>After a somewhat wobbly start to their 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship, Team Sweden finished the preliminary round of the tournament strongly, outscoring their final two opponents by a 13-2 count. The most recent win came against Russia, a convincing 5-1 victory that has the Swedes primed for their quarterfinal match against Slovakia.
