The phrase “taking your game to another level†is one that is firmly entrenched within the hockey lexicon. It is often used within a game situation, but also applies to the year-to-year development of players, especially younger players still looking to make their mark in the pro game.



One player in junior hockey who has been the epitome of this phrase so far in 2013-14 is Guelph Storm right wing Scott Kosmachuk. The Toronto, ON native turned in a solid 2012-13 season for the Storm,* scoring 35 goals and adding 30 assists for 65 points in 68 games. But the fourth-year player has truly found another level in his game so far this season, picking up 18 goals and 21 assists for 39 points in 25 OHL games, a pace that, if he can keep it up, would see Kosmachuk finish with 106 points.… read more
